ABOUT ME
I'm a passionate, creative and lively cultural manager, academic and author with over 16 years of experience in Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs). As a cultural affairs professional and a performing arts manager, I have extensive experience in managing events and projects in Bucharest and Rome, two dynamic cities.
My senior expertise in arts administration has been honed through high-profile roles in both the public and private sectors. This has enabled me to collaborate with top-tier international institutions in performing arts management and international cultural affairs. Some of these include the China Shanghai International Arts Festival, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, “George Enescu” International Festival and Competition (Bucharest), Teatro dell’Opera “La Fenice” (Venice), Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia (Rome), BOZAR (Brussels), Sadler’s Wells (UK), U.S. Embassy to Italy, European Commission (representation to Italy), and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Diplomatic Institute - D.G.R.O.).
I specialize in managing large-scale performances and have been involved in the production and organization of various events over the years. These include Sarah Brightman’s The Harem World Tour in Bucharest, which drew an audience of over 20,000, and the Rome New Year’s Day Parade, an international event that annually involves more than 1,000 participants. This event is a collaboration with Destination Events (London) and Youth Music of the World (USA). Another notable project is “101 pianists”, a unique social musical event that I organized in collaboration with the Lang Lang Foundation, “Santa Cecilia” Music Conservatoire, and Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia in Rome. This performance engaged 100 young pianists alongside the world-renowned Lang Lang.
As a visiting professor and lecturer, I have collaborated with various academic institutions and universities around the world, such as: Rome Business School (Italy), Royal Conservatoire in Den Haag (Holland), IULM University in Milan (Italy), University of Rome 2 “Tor Vergata” (Italy), Santa Cecilia Music Conservatoire in Rome (Italy), Benedetto Marcello Conservatoire in Venice (Italy) and more. Additionally, I have served as an education expert on various examination boards, appointed by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), “Santa Cecilia” Music Conservatoire in Rome and the Italian National Committee for the Practical Learning of Music under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
I have been a Resident Fellow of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Romanian Ministry of Education and Research at Accademia di Romania in Roma, and I have received various international research fellowships and grants from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Festivals Association (Brussels), The Asia-Europe Foundation - ASEF (Singapore), “Santa Cecilia” Music Conservatoire in Rome, Fondazione Terzo Pilastro Internazionale (Italy) and others. Currently, I’m Alumna of the European Music Council (Bonn) and International Music Council (Paris) - two of the largest international networks of organizations operating in the music sector. Furthermore, I’m Alumna of Stiftung Mercator (Essen) - one of Germany’s leading foundations and TÜSİAD (Istanbul) - Turkey’s top business organization, project under the patronage of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs.
